The festivities take an evil turn when, during an underwear hunt, one pair of co-eds, handcuffed together in the spirit of team, smash a pinata and unleash the evil spirits contained within. Mirroring a popular television show of the day, the youthful brigade now must learn how to survive on the island or be summarily dismissed, only the ejections on this island are slightly more permanent and aren't subject to a vote. Jaime Pressly (NOT ANOTHER TEEN MOVIE) and Nicholas Brendon (TV's BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER) are among the partygoers in peril.

The Last American Virgin (DVD)
Arguably the standard bearer for the teen sex comedies of the early 1980s, this story of the sexual misadventures of Gary, a hapless, embarrassingly chaste pizza delivery guy hoping to lose it, has it all: gratuitous pizza parlor settings, a Devo soundtrack, a locker room penis contest, weird exchange students, crab lice, a fat-kid schlmiel, and Diane Franklin as the Nice New Girl in Town (a role she reprises in 1985's Better Off Dead). Look for treble-voiced Kimmy Robertson (Lucy from TV's Twin Peaks) as the story's actual nice girl, whom Gary passes up in the climactic kegger scene.

10FT HDMI GOLD DIGITAL VIDEO CABLCABLE HDMI M/M
Tripp Lite's 10ft HDMI - HDMI ( High Definition Multimedia Interface ) cable allows interconnection between digital display devices, such as DTV's ( Digital Television ), Plasma displays, LCD TV's, and projectors, to Digital source devices, such as Digital Set-Top boxes, DVD/DVD-R players, and AV receivers. HDMI assures that the best video signal is always sent from source (HDTV signal, DVD Player....) to the display (Projection Television or Plasma). It does this by allowing uncompressed video and multi-channel audio data to be input to the display device through one single cable. The need for multiple analog connections for high-resolution audio and video are eliminated. Without a HDMI connection, one would need 3 video connections for high definition video and 6 audio connections for high-resolution audio. An HDMI connection allows input at high rates of speed, up to 5 Gbps. This leaves a lot of spare capacity for future applications; for example, a current uncompressed HD movie only...

IN THEATERS APRIL 28, 2006
A family film for the Instant Messenger age, RV takes a humorous look at a mostly functional suburban family's attempt to get away from it all on a rare vacation. The always hilarious Robin Williams plays Bob Munro, a beaten-down middle manager who feels alienated from the family he works so hard to keep comfortable. Upon his insistence, the Munro family rents an RV and embarks on a search for quality time in the land of Manifest Destiny. With his frustrated wife Jamie (the always stellar Cheryl Hines of TV's CURB YOUR ENTHUSIASM), rapper-wannabe son Carl (Josh Hutcherson), and angsty daughter Cassie (Joanna Levesque, best known as a tween pop singer), la famiglia Munro is Westward Ho. However, white-collar Bob's lack of adeptness at handling the monstrous vehicle causes plenty of amusing chaos. Thank God for the kindness of strangers--in
this case, a couple of endearing oddballs played by Jeff Daniels (who proved his comedic chops in the DUMB...

A tale of enormous suspense and growing horror, The Fox in the Attic is the first part of Richard Hughes's monumental historical fiction, The Human Predicament. Hughes's Tolstoyan novel re-creates the traumatized worlds of England and Germany in the aftermath of World War I, and features an extraordinary portrait of Adolph Hitler at the beginning of his career. Its sequel, The Wooden Shepherdess, offers a panoramic depiction of Europe in the 1920s and 1930s, concluding with a terrifying account of...

Beyond Representation: Television Drama and the Politics and Aesthetics of Identity
"Beyond Representation" poses the question as to whether over the last thirty years there have been signs of 'progress' or 'progressiveness' in the representation of 'marginalised' or subaltern identity categories within television drama in Britain and the US. In doing so, it interrogates some of the key assumptions concerning the relationship between aesthetics and the politics of identity that have influenced and informed television drama criticism during this period.
